The subject of a major refurbishment in 2016 the house is on four floors The bedrooms are on the top two floors with a bathroom on each floor and all have wonderful sea views. There is an additional shower room / toilet on the lower ground floor.

The spacious lounge at street level opens onto a generous balcony overlooking the sea and the kitchen/ dining area is  on the lower floor with  a sliding glass door out to a sunny yard. There is outside eating on both the balcony and in the yard. In the summer there is direct access to the beach from the yard via beach stairs.

Tarkwa Cottage is the perfect getaway spot - a cosy and well equipped cottage right on the sea and yet within a lively village with shops, pubs and places to eat all within walking distance. Without moving from a chair you can watch an array of boats and birds but you could also set off on an eight mile cliff walk, hire a boat or swim the length of the bay.

Cawsand is the perfect Cornish smugglers village and there are numerous famous places within striking distance by car or train. Plymouth, with its magnificent naval history and city amenities is half an hour away so it is even possible to get to Tarkwa by public transport and taxi.
